A Healthy Treat!
1 very ripe avocado
1 lime OR 1 tablespoon of lime juice
8 small grape tomatoes
1 garlic clove (minced)
1 teaspoon of red onion (diced)
¼ teaspoon of salt
¼ teaspoon of pepper
** If you like it hot, add fresh jalapeño OR dried red pepper flakes
In a bowl, mash the avocado and lime juice together until it is fairly well mixed. I like to leave some lumps of avocado.
- Mince the clove of garlic and dice the red onion fairly small. Add both to the bowl with the avocado and lime juice.
- Chop the cilantro. You will need approx. 1 tablespoon of the chopped cilantro. Add to the bowl.
- Dice the grape or cherry tomatoes and add to the « almost complete » dip
- Add the Salt and Pepper
